Looking for a little direction for your Senior Pictures Session? You have come to the right place. In this post of Senior Pictures Ideas and Inspiration, let’s talk about looking “off Camera.”
Looking off camera in your portrait session takes a little practice. However, when done properly, it can really create a fantastic portrait. Here are a couple quick pointers:
- Relax. Do not try to hard
- Create your pose as if you were going to be looking into the camera, then turn your head as though someone just called your name – but do not act surprised
- Keep your eyes, for the most part, level to the horizon – this one can be broken by looking down and up but that is best left for the direction of the photographer
- Don’t over do it. Again, relaxed, casual, and easy
