You need a couple of things to make sure your pics turn out the way you want them.
- Have to be a 2013 Senior (that one is easy enough)
- Next you need a perfect location
- Add in a little good weather
- Lots of wardrobe options should be near by
- Do not need props, but feel free to add them in if you like
- Mix in a creative photographer that knows what they are doing
- Stir it all together
- Shake it up for an hour or two and…

Sort of. I spend a lot of time looking for the ultimate locations for Senior Portraits. Minneapolis is rich with great locations. But it takes a lot more than a cool wall or beautiful flower bed to make a great shot. You need to know how to use light, when to go to certain locations. How to CREATE the perfect pose. When a smile will work in the scene and when you need to have a serious expression.
Most of all, you need to have fun and love what you do. As a Minneapolis Senior Portrait Photographer, I do everything I can to make sure you pics are awesome. It all starts with the fact that I love what I do. Senior Portraits are a blast – for you and for me. But it is also keeping up with trends in style and fashion, for young women and men. Music is important too. Yes, music. Why? Just because I said so I guess. My office has an amazing sound system. It shakes the walls. I crank it when I sit down and process your pics. Gets the creative juices flowing. Also works well for in studio shoots. Everyone is more relaxed with music in the background. Bring your iPod and plug it in. Use your playlist or mine. They are probably the same. Who knows, maybe we can swap some tunes.
