The “Serious Look” takes practice.  Here are a couple quick pointers:

• Be serious is about being engaged. You want to look serious, but approachable – smile with your eyes!
• Serious can also be a soft smile
• Your eyes should be locked in on the camera. Eyebrows should be relaxed. 
• You want to show emotion. Happiness can come through.
